So, I’ve got it all done now, including a google search bar (that works) and a page ‘fragment’ on each page.
Was quite simple to do, all i needed to access the google bar is have a gmail account, and then I just add my url to the google search bar code thingy, and paste the code on me site…

It was good as well, coz if it had have been due this friday, I don’t think I would’ve got it done in time, there is massive amounts of work to be done still, I got to add a sub navigation bit, and a page ‘fragment’ watever the hell that is…
But this weekend hopefully I’ll get cracking on the old webby, and smash most of it out. Pending ABC work of course…
Subdomains.
I’ve also had a look at making some subdomains on my site, I can’t seem to get them working though. I wanted to have blog.wheresmyspaceship.com for my blog, and other things like that. maybe i’m doing something wrong, maybe crazydomains suck. I’m hoping its the latter!
CSS, Style Sheets… Fuck….

Ok, So I’ve got a basic site set up now, with my very nice looking themes attached via style sheets, but the damn buttons won’t hide on ie6, EVERY other browser I’ve tried seems to work fine but on ie6 the blue underlined hyperlinks still wont piss off… Simple Solution, make them the same colour as the background, no worries!
This site is coming quite nicely now, I’ve got the hang of the CSS thing, to my surprise the text is very useful for this unit, It covers the css implementation very well.
Oh, In other news, I bought a new lens, its hot sex…

This week, after spending altogether too much drawing ideas for a wall mural in illustrator, I was racking up google and found this site…
This site has a ton of colour ideas, and inspirations to get your creative juices flowing.
I found it useful for seeing a group of colours together in one place. I’d take a jpg (screenshot) of the colour palette and ‘place’ this in illustrator, and then I was ale to pick colours from the palette with the eyedropper tool.
Anyways, Pretty Cool.

This is the new Blog, where i will be adding a little each week.
Got a new domain with crazy domains… I also got hosting with them, it was 60 bucks for the domain and 1 gb of space for two years, i figure that’ll be more than enough for everything I will do.
The UI on the web hosting sucks though, but it will have to do, not like i can get a refund now!
Custom Blog Theme ideas

So, I’ve decided to Go with the ‘handdrawn’ style that is all the rage, not only for my website but also for the custom Blog theme project.
I made a rough draft type dealy, was mainly just experiementing with the images on a theme that was pre installed on the blog, it looks bit poo at the moment, But soon it will be delicious.
I also got a mention on the ucweb production website.
